Line Sculpture

This week we study about one of the important element of art which is LINE.

We began the lesson by reading Lines That Wiggle book and practice line drawing with crayon and watercolour. Now let's create 3D sculpture!

MATERIALS

• Styrofoam

• Pipe cleaners

• Scissors

• Craft materials (beads, straw, pom pom balls, button)

INSTRUCTIONS

Gather your materials, bend and twist pipe cleaners into lines. It can be zig zag, swirly, wavy, straight or any lines that you can create. You can buy styrofam from craft shop but I always keep the styrofoam that comes in package. If you don't have styrofoam at home, you can replaced it with clay. Stick pipe cleaners into styrofoam, makesure to cover the whole surface. Add some decorations to your sculpture.
